TIME
WHAT ACTIONS MATTER THE MOST?
Do you ever look at the list of things to do and the hours left in the day and feel hopeless? Maybe you decided to “prioritize” and so you put a star next to “only the most important things,” and then you see that you’ve put a star next to every single thing? Have you ever gotten all the things on your to-do list finished, and then you realize they didn’t really have an impact? Or worse, you see that they really weren’t so important after all?
Not all actions produce equal results. You can have the outcomes you want in life if you learn how to be more intentional with your time. In fact, some actions—like breathing, sleeping, eating—are far more important than others.
Your first task is not to “do” anything. Your first task isn’t a task at all! The first thing you should do before anything else is to sit down and decide what outcome you want. All actions are measured by their outcome. Remember your vision from the second handbook? If your actions are not contributing to that vision, then they aren’t worth doing.
This course on Time is a moment to reconsider your vision. What do you want to come true? It contains elements of the unknown, but you can forecast the things that need to be broken down into goals, objectives, and tasks.
